Those Damn Twins (TDT) is a musical duo brought to life by twins Lisa and Thomas Logan. These multi-instrumentalists come from a background in science, and their music is a logical extension of their careers in healthcare and technology. TDT's work paints a warped portrait of life in the 21st century. Intimate, yet distant, this uniquely creative band questions the big promises from religion, science and computers. This is the soundtrack to the future of the human body.

TDT do not create songs of conventional structure. Vocally dominant, asymmetrically tuned: these songs have a mind. Equally notable is their energized performance which portrays a symbiotic relationship of human and machine. Their show is, quite possibly, the most accessible "art concert" to come along since The Flaming Lips Soft Bulletin tour; TDT will command attention and leave you mesmerized.

On their EP "It's Not A Hobby — It's a Command", the deceptively playful opening track, "Clownsuit," offers a sample of TDT's modus operandi. With a calmly strummed acoustic chord and innocently charmed vocals, listeners may be unaware that they're being soothed by the line "Body dumped outside in a clownsuit." The juxtaposition of lyrics and sound creates an unfamiliar, yet calming balance. For TDT, morbidity has a tender side. If you're hesitant to accept this, keep listening. By the time you've heard the entire track and moved on to the gentle lullaby "Polar Bear," in which a lover is compared to an animal known to actively hunt humans, or "The Red One," a soulful country hymn for a being that doesn't live in heaven, you will catch on: TDT's friendly façade puts you at ease long enough for just about anything to sink in.
